PROGRAM OBJECTIVE:

Students will be exposed to this ancient method of hair removal. Even though threading may seem like the next big thing in salons nowadays, it’s actually an old technique that has been around for ages. This course will provide the individual with the practical training needed to perform threading treatments. The student will gain knowledge about the origin of threading, why it is so popular in the western world, the benefits of threading vs. other hair removal methods, and before & after procedures.

COURSE CURRICULUM:

•Introduction to facial and eyebrow threading

•Training on holding and moving the thread

•Step-by-step instructions on the two most versatile techniques (hand & mouth) used for threading

•Instructions on creating lines and brow shaping

•A final round of hands-on training and personalized feedback

***NOTE*** THIS IS A HANDS-ON COURSE. ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE A RE-GROWTH OF HAIR ON THEIR EYEBROWS AND OTHER AREAS OF THEIR BODY. HAIR GROWTH OF 3 WEEKS REQUIRED.

CERTIFICATION: Certificate awarded upon successful completion.
